Each year at our Annual Conference we offer critiques, real time queries and pitches. The format of our 2013 Symposium does not allow us time for critiques on site. Instead we are testing a new format: video- and telephone-conference calls.
We have lined up industry professionals who will either video-conference or telephone-conference with the author to review the critiqued materials.
The normal rules for critiques still apply: a Standard critique is10-pages plus a one-page synopsis for a 20 minute appointment for $50.00. Extended critiques are 30-pages plus a one-page synopsis is $100.00 for a 20 minute appointment.
Chuck Sambuchino of Writers Digest is offering to critique two (2) query letters. The first two people to sign up get this special offer for $25.00. The letter you submit should conform to industry standards for the genre.
Maureen Sherbondy will be critiquing poetry at $5.00 per page and short stories at $20.00 for the first five (5) pages.
As with any manuscript submission, please observe one-inch margins on all sides, 12-point Times New Roman font only.
Submissions that do not meet these standards will be returned. We are accepting all submissions by email only. An email address will be provided once you have registered and paid for your critiques.
Below are the names of our critique faculty. For details about what they are critiquing, please visit the registration site:
